Loon Cruises on Squam Lake
Every Friday: June 18 – August 20 at 3:00 p.m.
We are delighted to announce we are joining forces this summer with our close friends and colleagues at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center to offer special weekly cruises on Squam Lake focusing on loon conservation, biology, and monitoring. On each Loon Cruise the Science Center Tour Captain will be joined by a Loon Preservation Committee biologist who will guide the tour and discuss the work LPC is doing across the state and on Squam Lake to protect loons. The route of the cruise (which lasts 90 minutes) will be chosen to maximize loon observations.
The cost for these tours is $20 per adult, $18 per senior and $16 per youth (3-15). Please call The Loon Center at 603-476-5666 for tickets.
The Loon Cruise leaves from the Science Center Lake Cruise dock between the Route 3 bridge and Walter’s Basin Restaurant in Holderness.
